Kom á kreativa og læruríka verkstovu, har vit fara at kava niður í grønlendska perluseyming. Her fært tú høvi at fordjúpa teg í hetta siðbundna og vakra handverkið, tá vit saman fara at seyma grønlendskar smúkkur.
Tú fert at læra um søguna um og stóra týdningin, ið perluseyming hevur í Grønlandi, tú fært innlit í tey ymsu mynstrini, ið verða brúkt, og tú lærir grundleggjandi háttaløg, ið tú kanst brúka til at gera tínar egnu perluverkætlanir.
Óansæð um tú ert byrjari ella hevur royndir við perluseyming, er hendan verkstovan ein góður møguleiki at læra um og skapa vøkur perlulistaverk.

Pipaluk Joensen stendur fyri verkstovuni. Hon er fødd og uppvaksin í Nuuk í Grønlandi og flutti til Føroya í 2019. Pipaluk hevur verið á nógvum skeiðum í perluseyming og hevur brúkt nógv ár upp á at gera meginpartin av sínum egna tjóðbúna - frá at garva skinn til at seyma perlur, toy og skinn.

Workshop in Greenlandic Beadwork 🇬🇱
Learn how to make traditional pearl necklaces
Join us for a creative and educational workshop that delves into the world of Greenlandic beadwork. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the traditional and beautiful craftsmanship when we sew traditional Greenlandic jewelry together.
You learn about the history and importance of beadwork in Greenland, and gain insight into the different patterns used, as well as learn basic techniques for creating your beading projects.
Whether you are a beginner or experienced beader, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn something new and create beautiful beaded artwork.
In the workshop, you will learn to make necklaces. The price includes materials, and we provide needles and thread, etc. You are also welcome to bring your own pearls if you want specific colors for your jewellery.
Pipaluk Joensen will lead the workshop. She was born and raised in Nuuk in Greenland and moved to the Faroe Islands in 2019. Pipaluk has participated in several courses in beadwork and has spent years making most of her own national costume.
