My beloved community! As we begin to see the Hot Summer we all should be reminded that there is someone feeling the same with no relief. Our friends sometimes have no where to go and very little resources to help. That’s where we come in. Come out on Saturday’s at Sandwich Saturday and help We Rise Above The Streets provide some relief to the homeless and impoverished populations. The changing seasons bring more needs for assistance. We are excited about all that our community has done and we’re looking forward to even more. It’s a great time for all. Come serve with us at Lincoln Middle School Saturday, June 28, 10:00AM as we prepare sack lunches for our beloved homeless friends. Bring your family and spend a day in service to others. You will enjoy being with other servants of the community as well and spend time getting to know the people we serve. In addition to sack lunches, we will also be handing out hygiene items, clothing and other basic living necessities. If you would like to help in our efforts by donating food, the following items are needed:
Turkey meat
Cheese
Wheat bread
Juice boxes, cases of water
Individual Chips
Granola bars
Cases of water
