Meet the Greyhounds Adoption Event

Are you curious about Greyhounds? Would you like to meet some of these amazing, athletic dogs in person? This is your chance!

All members of our community are invited to come and meet the Greyhounds at our spring adoption event. You don’t have to be considering adoption to attend — just bring your curiosity and your questions. If you’ve never met a Greyhound in person before, prepare to be impressed (and maybe a little envious) by their sleek physique and outgoing, silly personality.

There is no fee for this event, but as a nonprofit, we appreciate donations or gifts of supplies (paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc.). Any money raised will go directly to the care of the dogs, specifically their food which has gotten considerably more expensive over the last six months.

We will have printed adoption applications on hand, or you can fill out an online application in advance. If you already know you want to adopt, fill out an application and we will schedule an appointment for you to come in and meet the dogs, you don’t need to wait until the event!

* Families with children, please be aware that the Greyhounds have never lived in a home and have never seen a child before. Really! All of our dogs are retired racers and have always been housed in a kennel environment being cared for by adults only. While quiet, calm children of all ages are very welcome, the dogs are easily spooked by noise and quick movements. This will not be a“petting zoo” type of experience. *
