Djembe Drumming in Swadlincote, Derbyshire

Power of Drums is a predominantly adult, community African drumming group that meets on the second Saturday of the month, at Hill Street Baptist Church, Swadlincote, Derbyshire DE11 8HL.

Note: Children under 16 can attend but are to be accompanied by an adult. (Prior arrangement only).

We are a friendly and fun group that is lead by Andy Harris, who is a knowledgeable and experienced fun facilitator, who also runs a drumming group in Nottingham.

You do not need any musical experience to join the group, just a willingness to enjoy yourself. We have drums you can loan. Ear protection is advised as it gets pretty loud!!

The sessions are £6.00 each and include drum loan and refreshments.
