Bainbridge Island Fly Fishers Casting Competition

Bainbridge Island Fly Fishers Members and Friends, join us for a fun evening as we host our annual fly-casting competition. The event is on Tuesday, June 24, 7 PM at Seabold Community Hall, 14450 Komedal Rd NE, Bainbridge Island. If you are new to fly fishing, no worries, come and practice and participate in the Beginner Intermediate class.

ALL are invited to participate or watch as we have fun with the casting competition. Who will be declared the “Best Feather Thrower” on Bainbridge Island? No matter if you are new to fly fishing or have been at it for a while, you are invited to participate in this event. Bring a 5/6-weight rod, and some yarn if you have it. No flies are needed.

Members and Friends are invited to volunteer at 6:00 to help set up. Seeking one score keeper, two folks to take measurements and one person to take photos.

The winners of the competition will win a share of the $300 worth of gift cards to Waters West in Port Angeles. A $50 and $25 gift card respectively for first and second place in casting distance and accuracy, for Beginner/Intermediate, and Experienced categories.
