Kunstnerresidens og utstilling på Festa Kraftverk
I de to ukene før Festafest vil sju kunstnere fra Royal Academy of Art i Haag være i residens på Festa Kraftverk. Oppholdet kulminerer i en interaktiv utstilling som utfolder seg som en del av festivalopplevelsen. Etter festivalen er utstillingen åpen for publikum i to dager.
Gjennom installasjon, lyd, lys og performance utforsker kunstnerne et sentralt spørsmål:
Hva er menneskets plass mellom natur og teknologi?
Med dette som utgangspunkt presenterer de sine perspektiver med inspirasjon fra omgivelsene rundt det gamle kraftverket, skogen og elva.
Under utstillingen holder vi bålet i gang, serverer kaffe og te, og spiller musikk.

Artists-in-residence and exhibition at Festa Kraftverk
In the two weeks leading up to Festafest, seven artists from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague will be in residence at Festa Kraftverk. Their stay culminates in an interactive exhibition that unfolds as part of the festival experience. After the festival, the exhibition will be open to the public for two days.
Through installation, sound, light, and performance, the artists explore a central question:
What is the place of humans between nature and technology?
From this point of departure, they offer personal and critical perspectives on life today, shaped by the surrounding environment of the old power station, the forest, and the river.
During the exhibition, we’ll have a fire going, serve coffee and tea, and play music.
Come by, warm your hands, have a drink, and explore the works at the power plant.
