We are a nationally-recognized chapter of Indivisible—amplifying progressive voices, defending democracy, and building people power right here in our community that is in coalition with several other Indivisible & Pro-Democracy groups.
A PLEA TO STAND UP—BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE
The so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” just passed—and with it, our future is being dismantled.
This is not politics as usual. This is a deliberate move toward authoritarian rule and mass suffering.
Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP—lifelines for millions—are being slashed.
Climate protections—gone.
ICE is now the highest-funded federal police force in the country, even more than the FBI. That means more raids, more surveillance, more families torn apart.
This is a violent reordering of our society. It rewards cruelty and punishes care. It prioritizes corporate greed and white supremacy over basic human dignity.
And it is happening right now.
We are watching the machinery of oppression grind forward while so many feel overwhelmed, numb, or disconnected. But we cannot afford to look away. We cannot afford to wait.
Authoritarianism takes root in silence. In fatigue. In fear. But we are not powerless.
History shows that when just 3.5% of the population engages in sustained, nonviolent resistance, we can shift the course of a nation.
We are that 3.5%. We must be.
This is our time to act—for our neighbors, our elders, our children, our communities, our planet, and our future.
Join us. Organize. Speak out. Disrupt. Make art. Build coalitions. Refuse to be silent.
We will not be erased. We will not go quietly. We will not allow this regime to steal what generations before us fought to build.
It is a dark time in America. But we are the light—if we choose to be.
