It's Picnic Time! Our June Gathering & Jam will be on Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 3pm-6pm and will be outside at Bundos Music Shack, which is also Carmen & Tony's beautiful backyard. It should be another great annual picnic with something for everyone! Best of all our Picnic music will be provided by the phenomenal Sweet Melissa’s Blues Revue with special guest, Lefty Williams, joining the band for this event. This blues band features vocalist Melissa Goehner who will take you on a journey from Janis Joplin to Aretha Franklin to Koko Taylor and more!
We will have a jam, so bring your instruments & voices and show us what you've got. We will have our usual raffles going on, which benefits our Blue Flame Fund to help local musicians in need. Totally free and open to the public and kids are welcome. Bring your chairs and coolers and as we will be outside, please check the weather conditions before you head out. Don't forget to bring your sunscreen, hats, insect repellant, fans and rain gear just in case. As always this event is Smoke-Free so please do not smoke in the seated area. BYOB.
Food will be available for purchase from Carl Friese, owner and chef of The Village Corner German Restaurant. He will be serving food fresh off the grill with sides that hit the right note! Also for purchase, Real Crepes Atl will be making sweet and savory crepes to order. To top it off, sip into paradise with one of KD Tropical Paradise real fruit smoothies.
