Sewing Circle: Help Create a Community Quilt!

Join us on Thursday, June 12 any time between 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a Community Sewing Workshop with Sewing Circle! Come together with other community members to create a quilt! Sewing Circle is an artist-operated, treadle-powered sewing machine integrated into a folding, circular table that seats six people (including the artist). Participants select and draw on squares of fabric, which the artist sews into a quilt during the event. The finished quilt will be displayed in the Library. Engaging with a sewing project can build connections across generations and cultures and grow practical skills within people.
