About the event

Jack Settles Deerfly Stomp

5k(ish) trail run through the deerfly infested wooded dunes of Grand Mere State Park. STOMPERS are given a Tred-Not Deerfly Patch which they place on their hat (Bring a Hat!!!). Deerflies land on the patch AND the STOMPER who catches the most deer flies WINS the Jack Settles Deerfly Stomp (JSDFS)!!! All proceeds are donated to the Alzheimer's Association.

Since its inception oil 2006, the JSDFS has caught over 3300 deer flies and donated over $13,000 to the Alzheimer's Association.

Beloved Warriors: For an additional $50, you can add a loved one's name to the back of the STOMP shirt, honoring / memorializing an Alzheimer's warrior.
