Presented by Steve and Danelle Springer,
South African wine production is primarily concentrated in the Cape Winelands, specifically the Western Cape region, with a substantial portion of the vineyards located in the foothills of the Coastal Mountains. The area is known for its diverse terroir, encompassing 30 distinct growing districts with varying elevations, rainfall, soil types, and weather patterns.
The tasting will include wines the Springers brought back from South Africa as well as some fun anecdotes. There is a tradition in South Africa of enjoying a drink at sunset called "sundowning".
So come sundown with us on Friday.
