After a decade with concept-driven projects like Mutual Aid Music, Nate Wooley (soloist with the NY Philharmonic, redefining trumpet’s sonic boundaries) returns to raw improvisation — inviting two of the most compelling percussionists in the avant scene.
Chris Corsano – the “rim-batterer of choice” for legends like Joe McPhee and Björk, brings untamed energy and relentless invention.
Ches Smith – a rhythmic force who’s worked with everyone from John Zorn to Xiu Xiu to Kris Davis, known for his explosive and subtle command of sound.
This trio conjures everything from delicate whispers to towering sonic avalanches. No rules, just pure improvisation.
