Floorcraft 2025 - A Waltz Reborn (Social Dance + Workshop!)

Calling all social dancers!
Saturday May 3rd, come out for a FREE cross-step waltz workshop and social dance party in the Stanford Graduate Community Center!

From 7-8PM, Timmie Wong (1st place, Viennese Ball Cross-Step Waltz Contest) will be hosting "Grapevines 201", an intermediate cross-step waltz workshop. We'll be going over fun grapevine variations, lead/follow connection, and why grapevines are the "secret basic step" of cross-step waltz!

*Prerequisites for this class: Be comfortable leading/following basic cross-step waltz figures, including grapevines and underarm turns. This is an intermediate-level class, so please come prepared!

Then from 8-11PM, the floor is yours! We'll have 3 hours of non-stop social dancing to Timmie's carefully curated set of the best music for waltz, west coast swing, lindy hop, two step, and more!

This event is open to the greater dance community, so invite your friends, and come on out and dance -- you won't want to miss it!
