You will learn:
The different types of jersey/knit fabrics.
How to prepare your fabrics.
Then by sewing a small sample T-shirt you will learn:
Different methods of cutting out;
Which machine stitches to use;
Which needles and threads to use;
How to sew a seam so it stretches;
How to stabilise a shoulder seam;
How to add a facing;
How to bind a neck edge;
How to sew a hem.
Skill Level:
Confident beginner: Suitable for anyone that can sew basic items such as cushion covers and tote bags.
You must be able to cut out your fabric without assistance.
