Botanical Gelli-Plate Printing with Debs.
This is a new twist on the workshop Debs ran last month...this time we will be using a selection of botanicals and you can choose your favourite print to frame ( included in price )
Would you like to join us for this fabulous new workshop with Debs filled with experimentation, excitement, randomness and fun? Gelli-plate printing is a delightful and creative way to produce unique, one-off monoprints without the use of a printing press.
It is a popular technique for creators of all skill levels, offering endless possibilities for texture, layering and design.
A Gelli-plate is made from a soft and flexible gelatin-like material that allows imprints to be formed on its surface. For this workshop, we'll be using a variety of botanicals, a selection of which will be provided but you are very welcome to bring your own if you have a particular idea of what you'd like.
Your Gelli-prints can also be incorporated into mixed media art projects- adding texture and depth to collages. Debs is a lovely tutor with a very relaxed, fun style of teaching!
