Rite of Blessing a New Identity

The Episcopal Church has developed rites for many significant life changes, including embracing a new identity: a changed name, new pronouns, and/or a gender other than the one assigned at birth. On August 10, as we celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration (transferred) with guest preacher the Rev. Gayle Marsh, we will also celebrate the Rite of Blessing a New Identity. We encourage all of you to attend and join in welcoming members' new, truer selves.
