Ambiguous Loss & Grief with the Alzheimer's Association

When a loved one with dementia is losing mental capacity, it’s common to experience profound grief. Ambiguous loss is a type of loss we feel when a person with dementia is physically here but may not be as emotionally or mentally present as they used to be. We might be overwhelmed by emotions, grief, and even guilt. Join us to learn about this unique form of loss and grief and how to cope with it.
