As most of you know, our 2025 Show and Sale is next month on July 26 and 27. Our perennial program topic for June will be this event. So much is required for it to be successful. A general overview will reacquaint us with what is needed to make the event happen.
With the exception of some minor changes, all will run about the same as it did last year. Setting up the venue and show area takes place the Thursday and Friday before. Judging begins at noon on Friday. When the show starts on Saturday, we need volunteers to work the checkout lines, sales area, plant holding area, security and much more. We also need members to help tear down. There is a job for everyone, and everyone is needed.
There is also a need for hundreds of boxes. Keep saving boxes but please cut large boxes down to smaller sizes so we don’t have to cut/staple/tape boxes during the sale.

Weather Policy
When Missouri Botanical Garden is closed or travel becomes unsafe due to extreme weather conditions, HSCSS will cancel its scheduled in-person meetings and events. If practical, activities may proceed online via Zoom. HSCSS will post cancellation notices online and also distribute e-mail alerts following directors’ weather-related decisions.
