Tree Identification Introductory Tour

Join horticulturist Meg McCarthy for a crash course in tree identification. If trees just look like big green blobs on the horizon to you, you’re not alone. This tour will help beginners build their plant identification skills and launch our new Tree Identification Backpack Program! Come for the tour or for a self-guided walk, making use of our new backpacks that give you the tools and resources to learn more about trees and shrubs. Regular admission rates apply. No pre-registration necessary. Just drop in and meet Meg in the Field Centre.
