Rhythm at The Rooms with Andrew Kagumba

Celebrating Culture Days with Music. Come and move your feet to the rhythm of the beat with musician and ethnomusicologist, Dr. Andrew Kagumba.

Influenced by the rich musical heritage of Ganda culture, this performance puts the drums center stage for an afternoon of insight and entertainment.

About the Performer:

Born and raised in Uganda, Andrew is a passionate advocate for multicultural understanding through music. He is a PhD student in Ethnomusicology at Memorial University and holds a PhD in Music Education from Texas Tech University.
