2025 Atlantic Canada Mineral Processors (CMP) Conference

We hope to see you in St John's, Newfoundland on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 for the 5th annual Atlantic Region Canadian Mineral Processors (CMP) conference.

Get ready for an exciting gathering of the mineral processing community! This event offers the opportunity to connect, learn and engage in meaningful discussions on topics central to the industry. We anticipate strong representation from Operators, Academics, Suppliers, Consultants and Students, ensuring a dynamic and enriching networking experience for all participants.

This year’s program is packed with a full day of technical presentations, insightful project updates from operators and developers across Atlantic Canada and unbeatable networking opportunities. It’s a front row seat to collaborate with industry experts on the ideas and innovations shaping the future of our industry.

For the first time we are introducing a social event the night before the main event (Monday, Nov 3rd). This will be held at the Alt Hotel and start at 7PM and we look forward to seeing you there! We are filling presentation slots quickly but we are still welcoming paper abstracts to support presenting at the conference. We will be considering presentations focused on all aspects of mineral processing and projects. To ensure your submission will be considered, please submit your abstract before October 1st, 2025. Authors selected will be required to submit an abstract and provide a 15 minute technical presentation at the conference.

The CMP is a non-profit organization and we rely on your support to ensure a successful and memorable event. Sponsorship also supports the opportunity for students to attend the event. Please see the Eventbrite ticket section for sponsorship information and ensure company logos are provided by October 24th for inclusion in promotional materials at the event.
