Jazz Nights @ The Battery: Roger Howse & Tanya Alexander

Join us for a special evening of candlelit jazz, presented by Jacob Slous. Jacob invites talented jazz artists from here and away to perform at the cafe every Friday 7-9pm, serving up a variety of Jazz standards, new and old. It's a beautiful evening, don't miss it!

This week, local Americana duo Roger Howse & Tanya Alexander are taking to the stage! They'll be presenting 2 sets of music that blends traditional American roots styles like country, folk, blues, and bluegrass with contemporary sounds, characterized by powerful storytelling. If you're down to dig into the musical roots behind jazz music, this is the show for you! Don't miss this great duo, live at The Battery Cafe.

-Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.

- Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.

- Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples.
