Jazz Nights @ The Battery - Grant King & Jim Vivian

Join us for a special evening of candlelit jazz, presented by Jacob Slous. Jacob invites talented jazz artists from here and away to perform at the cafe every Friday 7-9pm, serving up a variety of Jazz standards, new and old. It's a beautiful evening, don't miss it!

This week, two powerhouses of jazz join forces at The Battery Cafe for two sets of improvised music, jazz standards, and more. Grant King (guitar) and Jim Vivian (bass) are two of this city's (...and country's) finest jazz musicians - with both artists having multi-decade careers of playing with a who's-who of jazz. As a duo, they're sure to treat you to an incredible night of music! Come enjoy Jim & Grant live at The Battery Cafe!

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.

Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.

Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples.
