Castle Ceilidh 2025

Get ready to celebrate the end of exams with a night of ceilidh dancing in the grounds of St Andrews Castle to live music from the wonderful Gary Sutherland!

Doors open at 5:15pm and dancing will be from 5:30-7:30pm. Please wear comfortable shoes you can dance in, bearing in mind the ground may be soft and uneven (no heels!) and bring your own water-bottle.

We are in need of several stewards to help us run this event safely. Stewards will be given free admission and will still have the chance to take part in some dances too; if you are interested, please email the society (celticsoc@).

On the occasion that poor weather means we cannot use the Castle grounds, we will relocate to Boys Brigade Hall. This venue has a lower capacity than the castle so we may unfortunately have to turn some people away once we reach full capacity. If you come to BBH and we are unable to accommodate you, we will process a full refund for tickets
