July 4th - Freedom Run

Fastscore Race Timing and Productions is proud to produce a 4th of July Freedom Run in Centennial Park. Celebrate the 4th with an early morning run that starts at the top of Centennial Park Hill.

NEW ROUTES FOR 2025 - We are extending the distance in the sanctuary for the 5K, shortening the 2.5K to 1 mile and adding a 10K that uses the Sangamon Valley Trail to get the extra distance.

This is Chip Time start and finish. Start the race at the top of Centennial Park hill and finish at the bottom. The event starts at 7:30am.

Finish on the south side of the hill and celebrate the 4th with breakfast food and drinks.

The Fun Run/Walk follows the same route but does not enter the wildlife sanctuary.

Your registration earns you a Freedom Run finisher t-shirt and medal.

Awards to the top male and female finishers and the top winner in each age bracket (10 year brackets from 10 & under all the way through the 80's).
