Birds of Prey with Tom Ricardi

Local raptor legend, Tom Ricardi, will be presenting his Birds of Prey program at The Zoo in Forest Park on Monday, July 21 from 12-1. This is a one-hour program for all ages featuring various raptors such as eagles, hawks and owls.

Registration is required to help us prepare for the event, but seating will be first-come, first-serve. Standing room will be available if all seats are taken. This event is free with admission. Admission to be paid at The Zoo's ticket booth upon arrival ($13/adult & $7/kids).

Tom Ricardi is the founder of the Massachusetts Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Facility, a nonprofit organization nursing American Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Owls, Red Tail Hawks, and other raptors back to health in Conway, MA. Tom is a Licensed Rehabilitator and Wildlife Biologist and spent more than 30 years as a Fish and Wildlife Game Warden.

This presentation is weather permitting. If we must cancel due to weather (rain or intense heat), we will reach out to the email used to register.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking is managed by the City of Springfield and not The Zoo. The City charges $3/in-state and $5/out-of-state plate to park in Forest Park, cash only.
