Wake Up Women: Spring Edition

Welcome all women who wish to rise, shine, and find community in the great outdoors. Every Tuesday and Thursday, we'll meet at the State Hill Boat Ramp (lower lot) to embrace the season and immerse ourselves in nature. Depending on the weather - particularly wind speed - we'll either hike or paddle (SUPs or kayaks). Our decision will be announced the evening before each event on the Facebook "Wake Up Women" post. When the morning's activity ends, you'll have the opportunity to join a guided cold plunge in the lake (optional).

HIKING: we'll trek a scenic 3 mile loop that does include some hills.
Sturdy shoes are required (no flip flops or crocs).

PADDLING: SUPs or kayaks welcome. Those with their own equipment are required to have PFD and whistle. SUP rentals are available, but reservations must be booked and paid for online the night before.

COLD PLUNGING: After our morning activity, opt for a quick dip in the lake.
Bring a bathing suit, water shoes, towel, and easy to change clothes if you plan to plunge.

!!This free event is designed to strengthen connections among women, but registration is required. Check our Facebook page the night before for our final updates and be prepared for an energizing morning of fresh air, community, and spring adventures.
