Qway is a Progressive Eastern Psych trio from Philadelphia, PA. Consisting of seasoned players from a variety of reputable regional acts, Qway capitalizes on their progressive, jazz, and world-music backgrounds to create a fresh, forward-thinking take on the psych-rock revival. Utilizing a wide array of techniques to blend wildly disparate influences, Qway has created a genre-defiant sound with prog-rock roots injected by Turkish/far-East melodies alongside drum-and-bass pockets, trip-hop sampling, and sludge-metal riffs. With elaborate live performances showcasing methodical compositions interspersed with complex improvisation featuring live sequencing, looping, and a wide-array of obscure instrumentation, Qway brings high-energy, high-intensity psych grooves to the stage while redefining the boundaries and capabilities of a 3-piece band.

Philadelphia based fusion trio Anthony Tilotta on bass, Matthew Silva on piano, and Zamere Williams on drums blend elements of funk, jazz and rock into an innovative sound that's as expansive as it is deeply rooted in musical tradition.
