Adventures in Alcohol Ink - 201

Prerequisite: Adventures in Alcohol Ink – 101

Building on the skills and techniques learned in the 101 class, we’ll bring in some new tools and techniques using a gel plate, stencils, and masking in this 4 week class. This is stretching the boundaries a bit, but that’s where the real fun begins and how we learn all the different ways to use a product!

Week #1 – Gel Plate and Alcohol Ink Markers: We will experiment with how we can use a gel Plate surface to create some fun backgrounds to build upon. Alcohol Ink Markers will be introduced to the creative process.

Week #2 – Stencils & Masking: We will experiment with a variety of stencils and how they can be used with Alcohol Inks. Masking will be introduced for some fun intuitive options.

Week #3 & #4 – Project Lab: Using the skills and techniques we learned in previous classes, we will create projects. I will have a few samples, but students are encouraged to bring their creativity and an idea of what they want to create.
