Discover the power of presence, spontaneity, and authentic movement in this dynamic improvisation workshop led by Csilla Halász—an acclaimed Hungarian contemporary dance artist, co-founder of La Caliope Dance Company (Barcelona), and long-time performer and assistant choreographer at Budapest’s renowned MU Terminál.
🔹 What to Expect:
Through guided improvisation, somatic exploration, and ensemble-based practices, this workshop offers participants a rare opportunity to experience Halász’s dual artistic lineage:
From the experimental and physically daring world of MU Terminál, where Csilla worked on productions such as C est, Oxigénszimfónia, and Inside.
To the emotionally embodied and cross-cultural approaches of La Caliope, which she co-founded in Barcelona with the goal of uniting dance, pedagogy, and social engagement
Participants will dive into:
Embodied awareness: Awakening the senses, listening through the body, and dancing from within.
Improvisational composition: Playing with structure, impulse, and group dynamics.
Collaborative exploration: Generating movement collectively while honoring individual expression
