Cruises to the SS United States Guided by John Sledge

This one-hour excursion showcasing the historic SS United States, temporarily docked in the Port of Mobile. Esteemed historian John Sledge, who works with the National Maritime Museum, will introduce guests to this iconic landmark of our nation's marine heritage, sharing stories about its desigeners, builders, passengers, and devoted enthusiasts. Along the way we will get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get a close waterside view of the venerable SS United States, the fastest ocean liner to ever cross the Atlantic and the largest passenger ship ever built entirely in this country.
