This summer we are trying something new – we will be offering public access to selected sunflower fields in the local area where you can bring the family and pick some beautiful Sunflowers for a small charge!
In each field there will be some tractors for the little ones to see and some of the JBR team on hand if you want to learn a little about what we do and how we grow these amazing flowers
Prices:
10 Stems - £5
20 Stems - £10
30 Stems - £15
Please bring cash - we won't be able to accept card payments
The fields will change as we go through the season so keep an eye on the JBR page for the pin-location - it will be added to the event each time
This week’s event will be held on Sunday 22nd of June between 10:00 and 15:00 but we may extend these later in the season.
We recommend coming early to avoid disappointment as we don’t have an infinite supply in each field - Please bring your own secateurs to crop your fresh Sunflowers
Also, we were asked last time if we would mind people bringing a picnic down to the field to enjoy in among the beautiful flowers- the answer is- of course you can, so feel free to bring a picnic if you would like to!
The Small Print:
J.B Robinson and sons will not accept responsibility for any injuries that occur while you harvest your sunflowers - please be safe and use appropriate equipment
Please park responsibly - these events will take place in rural locations and parking may be limited in some cases - Please ensure you park in a safe place that doesn't impede traffic or cause risk to your vehicles or others
Lastly- please take any litter with you- there will be a bin at the entrance for convenience.
We look forward to seeing you all and we hope you enjoy!
