Thorpeness Regatta will take place on Friday 22nd August 2025, which is held downstream at Thorpeness boating lake* and is a short walk down Lakeside Avenue.
During the evening Thorpeness Golf Club & Hotel will be hosting a ticketed event which includes a hog roast and live music within the Meare Garden (weather permitting) from 6pm to 9pm.
Tickets are £15 if booked in advanced or £20 on the day for adults and £10 for children, and will include a hog roast, salad bar and mini dessert per person.
Live music throughout the event will be provided by The Mean Eyed Cat.
Jiggers miniature golf, which is situated next to the Meare Garden will also be open all day until sunset for families to enjoy. Prices are £3 per person. This includes club and ball hire as well as a souvenir scorecard.
Fireworks from the Regatta* can also be enjoyed from the meareside garden during the evening (subject to purchasing a ticket).
As the fireworks will be taking place after sunset, we ask that all small children are supervised by an adult as the Meare Garden is located on the water’s edge of Thorpeness Meare.
This is a ticketed event, however benches in the garden will be on a first come, first served basis.
*Please note we do not host or organise the Thorpeness Regatta.
