LUMINARIA is a heartfelt display held at sunset, offering a chance to pause, reflect, and come together for a moving tribute. Whether you attend in person or watch our video recap, you’ll experience a stunning display of luminaria bags—each one illuminated in memory of someone who has died or in honor of those who offer support during times of grief.
Luminaria bags are available for $25 and will be uniquely displayed at the Aqua-Turf Club on Thursday, May 29th. You do not have to be in person to purchase a bag, but we welcome you to join us if you can! Your tribute will be part of something truly special.
Most importantly, 100% of proceeds go directly to supporting the grieving children we serve

We hope you will join us and be a part of the magic of LUMINARIA on Thursday May 29th✨ People will gather at the beautiful gardens outside at the Aqua Turf Club where guests will find our loved one’s luminaria bags.
✨Guests should plan to arrive between 6:45pm – 7:45pm to view the luminaria bags before the sun sets at 8:15pm and the bags are illuminated
✨Guest parking is available onsite at Aqua Turf Club located at 556 Mulberry Street in Southington
✨The event will end at 9pm.

Empower Grieving Children is nonprofit with a very specific mission — to empower, support, and connect children, teens, and young adults up through age 24 who have experienced the loss of a parent. We provide children, teens, and young adults relief from grief and guide them through life following the loss of a parent.
