Join us for a stage reading of Day of Tears - a day in 1852 Georgia of the largest slave auction in the US. This stage reading is told in the voices of those sold on the auction block, the enslaver, the seller, and the innocent children, husbands, wives and lovers who clung to one last desperate hope of staying together. Following this presentation will be an open discussion of the play. Stay and participate in a shared discussion of this play by the actors, director and you!
