Visit Cape Casa in East Harwich on July 20 from 10 AM to 4 PM as part of the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival, a ten-day celebration of local gardens and community giving. Located at 2 Meredith Way, just off Highway 39, this professionally designed garden reflects the vision and skill of a retired Landscape Architect who returned full-time to the Cape in May. Since then, the property has undergone an exciting transformation, with new fences, walkways, and a wide array of plantings continuing to take shape this spring. The tour includes access to both front and rear garden areas, with the front viewable from the street and the rear accessible via a heavy gravel driveway. Please note there are some steps and the terrain may be uneven—accessibility is discretionary. On-street parking is plentiful along this corner lot, but visitors are asked to park on only one side of the street and to respect neighbors’ driveways. Due to site conditions and the owner’s beagle, dogs are not permitted.
There will be a $5 entrance fee per person per garden, cash only
