Introduction to Hand building & Wheel Throwing With Felix

Saturdays, March 26th- May 31st
Time: 5:00-7 PM
Ages 16 and up..

This beginning wheel-throwing workshop is designed to teach the fundamentals of working with clay–no prior experience is necessary. Students will be introduced to basic types of shapes and construction techniques, as well as the basics of glazing.

Week 1-2: Handbuilding
Week 3-4: Wheel Throwing
Week 5: Trimming
Week 6: Glazing

What you Learn:
-Introduction to pottery materials and tools
-Hand-building techniques
-Learn how to use the slab roller
-Wheel throwing techniques
- Learn to make a mug, bowl & more.

What you get:
- 6 pottery classes
-15 lbs of clay -glazes
-Spanish/English instruction
