Intro to Shotgun/Trap at Platte River State Park

Never shot a shotgun? Want to see what trap is all about? We’ve got you covered! Join us for our introduction to Shotgun/Trap at the Outdoor Heritage Education Complex at Platte River State Park!

This class makes getting started in shooting very easy – and, thanks to NSSF partnership (National Shooting Sports Foundation), it’s only $10!

Here you will receive an educational introduction to the safe and recreational use of shotguns, individual and group training, and a rundown in one of the most popular shooting sports, trap.

This seminar offers a small group setting for students aged 8 and over. All equipment is provided, please do not bring your own firearms or ammunition. . Closed-neck shirts and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Students aged 18 and under must be accompanied by their legal parent/guardian. Payment is due at time of arrival.
