Bubbles and Blooms: presented by Connect 574 and the South Bend Girls Group

What can brighten your home or bring a smile to a loved one's face more than a freshly-arranged bouquet of flowers? In this event, we're crowd-sourcing the finest blooms and bringing them together to create something new! Join Connect 574 and The South Bend Girls Group for a chill evening of bouquet-building, bubbly drinks (alcoholic or otherwise), and bright conversation.

Also, although this is co-facilitated by the South Bend Girls Group, anyone is welcome to attend, no matter where you are on the gender spectrum! Guys, girls, and everyone in between are welcome, as long as you like blooms and bubbly.

Here's how it works:

1. Bring with you a small bundle of flower stems and a bundle of greenery. You should be able to secure both of these under $10... think Trader Joes, another grocery store, or if you're especially fortunate your own backyard! (We cannot condone any "foraging" from your neighbors or public parks, however). Use your imagination - flowers of all sizes are welcome from tulips to baby's breath, greenery from eucalyptus to hydrangea leaves.

2. We'll seat you at a table at The Cellar and you can order a beverage - we'll provide you with your first drink! Each person will build a bouquet with the different flowers brought that night. We will provide the bouquet paper & twine. If you'd like to bring a vase instead, please do so.

3. We will have teams pick the best bouquet in their team to be put up for "Best in Bloom", with a prize for every team member!

Tickets come with a drink ticket, all the accoutrement you'll need to assemble a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and a guaranteed relaxed evening to meet new people and make some friends while getting crafty and creative!
