Returning for the second session!
Join us for the newest HISTORY MYSTERY walking moai. Have you wanted to learn a bit more about our wonderful historic sites in our community? The Aronos Research Club has put together some interesting walks that include a 20-minute stroll with Fall colors that ends up in front of an interesting historic site. Each week they reveal WHERE you are walking to and each week you get a brief history of a new historical site.
Two walks will be in Columbia. TBD
Meet at Courthouse Square and sign in! 10:00am Fridays.
SEPT 5 through OCT 31, BUT JOIN ANYTIME AT THE WALK
This walking group is what we call here at Blue Zones Project a walking moai. Moai (pronounced moh-eye) is a concept from Okinawa, Japan that means coming together for a common purpose. The Okinawans are some of the world’s longest living people who join together to support each other in times of need. Walking Moais, or walking groups, encourage that same social support while adding the extra emotional and physical benefits of walking.
We hope to see you there!
Rain will cancel this weekly walk.
