Join Us in Caring for Our Treasure in the Sierras
After a long, busy summer, Pinecrest Lake has given so much to visitors from near and far, and the crowds have left their mark. Overcrowding, parking chaos, and heavy use have strained both the land and the people who care for it. With federal forest personnel numbers shrinking, our community has a bigger role than ever in protecting the places that we love.
That's why the Tuolumne Democrats are teaming up with Sonora Junk Removal to host Pinecrest Cleanup Day. A day of hands-on caretaking to restore the beauty of our lake after Labor Day Weekend.
