🤸 WHCIS Field Day at Foss Park (volunteer opportunity!)

Our gym teacher Mr. Bliss is finalizing plans for Field Day at Foss Park! The schedule (at the moment) is as follows:

9:00–10:45 a.m. Grades 4–6 and 2 AIM groups, with 8th grade helpers

[break for lunch]

12:15–2:00 p.m. Grades K–3 and 2 AIM groups, with 7th grade helpers

Mr. Bliss would love for adult volunteers to help the 7th and 8th graders with this event, and for donations of supplies!

Volunteering options (note you must have a CORI form on file with the school -- stop by the Edgerly main office and bring a government ID and Ms. Nancy will get you set up!):

* Accompanying grade 7/8 students to Foss Park
* Helping grade 7/8 students to run stations
* Extra adult for each homeroom (moving with them station to station)
* Clean up

Donation options:

* Bottled water
* Folding tables (for face paint & sensory stations)
* Pop-up tents (shade & face paint station)
* Sensory materials: there will be a Sensory Zone this year for AIM students who may need a break. Looking to borrow or for donations of water toys, kinetic sand, fidgets, etc.
