Biography of Instructor:
Mickaël Martin, 6th dan, discovered Aikido in 1989 and became the uchi deshi of Tamura Nobuyoshi Shihan in 2002. After Tamura Sensei's passing in 2010, he began to practice kenjutsu and iaijutsu with Kuroda Tetsuzan Sensei and kobujutsu with Yoshinori Kono Sensei. Each year he travels to Japan to further his martial arts research and organizes trips to enable different practitioners to meet Japanese masters and visit Japan.

He created the international association, Meiwakan Aikido in 2011 to continually preserve and transmit Tamura Sensei's Aikido. He currently teaches at Meiwakan Aikido's home dojo in La Rochelle, France and travels internationally to give seminars throughout the year.
