About Central Street Studios
This latest exhibit at the Inside-Out gallery in Davis Square celebrates the multifaceted creativity of Central Street Studios. For nearly 40 years, 57 Central Street has hosted artists of all genres. Within its unassuming walls, there is a bustling energy of visual artists, film-makers, writers, and musicians who hone their craft, creating a unique vibe that feels distinctly Somerville—quirky, creative, and fun. With over 20 studio spaces, this showcase is just a mere glimpse of the eclectic array of talent that dons in the halls of Central Street.
Now, there is an opportunity for the artists to look to the future and preserve their space for the next generation of artists. Fundraising efforts are already underway, and the art community is asking for contributions to help secure the building. Please support their cause to keep the arts in Somerville strong!
