THE CYNZ - CYNDI DAWSON is a visual on-stage tsunami, period. She leads the band through shamanic rock & roll rites of passage. SHAGGAHS (pron.Shagis) is a boston- based celtic-punk band formed in 1991 by 2 members of the legendary band Stop Calling Me Frank. This high energy band with its clever riffs and honest songwriting predates the Dropkick Murphys by 3 years. Not saying SHAGGAHS influenced the Dropkicks but founding members Ken Casey and Rick Barton were in the crowd in the early years when SHAGGAHS rocked Chet's Last Call. The band stopped playing in 1994, doing a couple of memorial shows over the years. In 2024 Rumbar Records agreed to release an album of the early recording titled Extra Stout Boston Ma. The songs got a good amount of play internationally including Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius XM. The band has since reformed with a new line-up.
