At PNWTRC events, we welcome all types of RCs. Allowing both comp and non-comp rigs to run with us.
It is advised to arrive a little early to get parked and ready for the event. We will meet up at 10am at the trailhead to have a quick drivers meeting before heading onto the trail. This is an open event to run, we encourage 1/10th crawler/trail types of RC crawler. Bashers/Bouncers can be a little tough to navigate up a trail, please mind your batteries and remain in control of your car.

Description:
If you have ever driven across Snoqualmie Pass, you have driven along the shore of Lake Keechelus which is just on the east side of the pass. You have probably noticed, if you have driven over at different times of the year, how the level of this lake drops dramatically over the course of the summer as water held behind the dam is released to support irrigation in the Yakima Basin. What you may not realize is that it is quite easy to get down to the exposed shoreline on the west side of the lake, an oddly peaceful spot as you can watch cars rushing by on I-90 along the east shore, and yet you may be the only one down on the lake bed. The views from the lake are spectacular with the high peaks of the Cascade Range in the background, and the creeks carve interesting channels through the exposed lake bed.

Getting There:
From North Bend drive east on I-90 towards Snoqualmie Pass for 24 miles. Then take exit 54 toward Hyak/Gold Creek. Turn right onto WA-906 and then turn left onto Forest Road 2219 and follow for about a mile.
