Join us in Lower Reach Park for an unforgettable afternoon of entertainment, live performances, food, and community fun as we officially kick off Old Home Week 2025!
🎉 What to Expect:
✨ Get up close with the parade floats
🍔 Grab a bite at the Kinsmen Canteen
🍻 Enjoy a cold one in the Kinsmen Beer Garden
🎩 Be wowed by a strolling magician
👣 Catch roaming stilters throughout the park
🎨 Take home a caricature on limited-edition Old Home Week keepsake paper
🎶 Live Performances:
🇲🇽 3:00–3:30 PM — Mariachi Los Gallos
🇧🇷 3:30–4:00 PM — 15-piece Brazilian Drum Troupe, brought to you by Bavia Arts
🎤 4:00–4:15 PM — Official Opening Ceremonies
🥁 4:30–5:00 PM — Taiko Drum Performance, presented by Oto-Wa Taiko
Helpful Tips for a Comfortable Day:
🪑Bring a lawn chair to relax and enjoy the show
⛱️ Bring an umbrella or small tent for shade
💧 Stay hydrated — a water bottle filling station is now available at Lower Reach Park
🚧 Getting There:
Please note: there is no or limited public parking at Lower Reach Park due to parade floats, vendors, and volunteers.
🅿️ We encourage attendees to park along nearby side streets and walk to watch the parade roll by along Jasper Avenue, then make your way into Lower Reach Park for the Opening Ceremonies.
