Rick Faris at Seman Violins

Rick Faris is an eight-time International Bluegrass Music Association award winner (2024’s IBMA Songwriter of the Year). He spent 11 years in the Chicago based two-time, Grammy-nominated band, Special Consensus. Rick has since blossomed into a career of star studied recordings and young hot pickers in his international touring band. Chicago dates are always cherished by Rick as he feels he gets a chance to see family and friends that he never sees enough. Rick says, “I am so excited to return to the beautiful concert hall at Seman Violins, which is always a great, intimate venue to give a very personal and heartfelt concert…I love my Chicago peeps and a chance to see what Peter has been up to in the Violin shop!”
