Teen chefs will dig deeper into culinary techniques and explore flavor, creativity, and presentation.
Tuesdays 6:30p-7:30p, September 16- October 21, 2025
Week 1: Knife Skills & Safety – How to chop, dice, mince, and handle chef’s knives with confidence.
Week 2: Breakfast for Dinner – Shakshuka or frittata plus a homemade quick bread.
Week 3: Homemade Gnocchi – Quick ricotta or potato gnocchi with a scratch-made sauce.
Week 4: Baking Science – Savory scones or focaccia with herb butter.
Week 5: World Kitchen – Curry, dumplings, or another international classic.
Week 6: Teen Chef Showcase – Create and plate a dish with presentation in mind.
Students are encouraged to wear apron or clothes that can get a little messy, put on sneakers (no sandals, please), and bring a knife they feel confident using. Students will enjoy the meal they cook at the end of class.
