Young chefs will build confidence, practice kitchen safety, and explore new foods while making tasty recipes they can share at home.
Tuesdays 5p-6p, September 16- October 21, 2025
Week 1: Kitchen Basics – Safety, hand-washing, measuring, simple knife skills (with kid-safe tools).
Week 2: Breakfast Favorites – Sheet pan pancakes, fruit parfaits, and specialty toasts.
Week 3: Homemade Gnocchi – Soft potato or ricotta gnocchi with a simple sauce.
Week 4: Bake & Create – Muffins or scones, plus homemade butter or jam.
Week 5: Global Flavors – Tacos, dumplings, or another fun international dish.
Week 6: Celebration Feast – Kids design a menu and cook a mini feast to enjoy together.
Students are encouraged to wear apron or clothes that can get a little messy, put on sneakers (no sandals, please), and bring a knife they feel confident using. Students will enjoy the meal they cook at the end of class.
